The Role  

We are looking for a Cegid Retail POS Senior / Lead Developer to implementation, support, and optimization of our POS systems.

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role & Responsibilities

• Cegid Retail POS Implementation & Support - The functional and technical aspects of deployment and integrating the Cegid Retail Y2 solution (imports, exports, web services, etc.)
• Customization & Development -Customize the Cegid Retail POS system to meet the specific needs of the business, including implementing new features, enhancements, and integrations. (identification of needs, feasibility analysis, technical specifications, development)
• Conduct technical and functional workshops
• Realization of technical specifications & parameterization books

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the retail/luxury sector, with a strong focus on Cegid point of sale (POS) management solutions.
• Comprehensive technical and functional expertise in Cegid Retail Y2, including data import/export modules and web services.
• Proven experience in at least one full-cycle implementations of Cegid Retail POS, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
• Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, Vue.js, and Angular, as well as proficiency in backend technologies including Java and Node.js.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach, combined with excellent communication abilities.
