Director International (gn) ESN
Lead the strategic design and hands-on execution of ESN international expansion.
Your Responsibilities:
- Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a DTC-led market entry strategy, targeting EU and ME markets, with a phased approach toward retail.
- Value Proposition Development: Define a compelling value proposition tailored to each target market, answering key questions (who, what, how) for potential consumers.
- Market Qualification: Identify and prioritize markets based on consumer insights, competitive analysis, and overall brand fit.
- Commercial Planning: Partner with the commercial team to shape go-to-market plans, pricing strategies, distribution logistics, and brand positioning.
- Retail Expansion: Drive the transition from DTC to retail in new markets, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and cohesive brand representation.
- Overall Marketing Activation Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing activation plan in each new market, ensuring alignment with brand values and leveraging local marketing channels for optimal reach and engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Measure and analyze market performance, identifying growth opportunities, areas for improvement, and refining strategies based on real-time data.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in brand management, commercial strategy, or international expansion within DTC and/or retail environments. Must have experience in global/regional role.
- Skills: Proven expertise in market qualification, brand development, and go-to-market execution. Ability to define unique value propositions and deliver against brand and revenue targets.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial strategies, consumer behaviors, and brand positioning across Familiarity with EU and ME markets, including regulatory landscape, consumer trends, and cultural nuance, diverse markets.
- Market Knowledge: Project Management: Ability to drive complex projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely execution and alignment with brand objectives.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to influence and inspire across levels and regions.
- Target Group Affinity: Ideally experienced and passionate about fitness/supplement industry
- Language: Fluency in English is required. German is a plus.
