Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Creative Leadership
● Lead the proposal development process in APAC, from interpreting client briefs to
shaping compelling solutions that connect insights with outcomes.

delivering innovative concepts and storytelling that align with client objectives.
● Partner with analysts, content creators, producers, and media strategists to bring forward
the full suite of Economist Impact capabilities.
● Champion insight-led thinking, ensuring proposals draw on audience data, market
intelligence, and performance learnings.
● Contribute to the development of regional and global “turn-key” packages that accelerate
the sales cycle and showcase Economist Impact’s unique strengths.
Collaboration & Regional Impact
● Work closely with APAC sales and the Director of Creative Content, APAC, to ensure
strategic alignment between storytelling, branded content, and partnership solutions.
● Collaborate with regional Partnership Leads to nurture and expand high-value client
relationships through strategic proposals and consultative engagement.
● Ensure constant feedback loops between delivery and strategy to embed performance
learnings into future partnership design.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
● Act as a thought partner within APAC, helping shape regional growth opportunities and
evolving how Economist Impact presents itself to market.
● Lead brainstorms, inspire teams, and bring forward bold ideas that push creative
boundaries while maintaining Economist Impact’s editorial integrity.
● Contribute to global knowledge sharing, best practice development, and innovation in
formats, packages, and proposal excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
● 8 plus years’ experience in creative strategy, branded partnerships, or integrated
marketing within media, publishing, or agency environments.
● Proven ability to design and deliver impactful marketing and thought leadership solutions
for premium brands.
● Strong storytelling and proposal development skills, with experience crafting narratives
across multiple formats (written, digital, live events, multimedia).
● Creative and strategic thinker with exceptional writing ability and design sensibility.
● Experience working across APAC markets, with sensitivity to cultural nuance and regional
brand expectations.
● Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and disciplines in a fast-paced
environment.
● Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content formats, and performance optimisation
approaches.
● A collaborative, curious, and high-energy mindset with a passion for impact-driven
partnerships.
