
Digital Trade & Optimisation Manager
Tekla is seeking a Digital Trade & Optimisation Manager to drive the commercial performance of our global e-commerce platform. Reporting to the Head of E-commerce, you will be responsible for maximising full-funnel performance through data-led trading and optimisation strategies that enhance key KPIs and ultimately deliver sustainable revenue growth.
You will be a key player in leading our CRO strategy, ensuring our website is a powerful, data-led engine for conversion while reinforcing Tekla’s brand positioning in the premium space. Beyond trading excellence, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting marketing and site performance, turning data into actionable insight that drives the effectiveness of campaigns, landing pages, and user journeys. You will also lead and mentor our E-commerce Coordinator, ensuring the efficient delivery of product launches, performance-optimised campaigns and high-impact merchandising while maintaining smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Own and optimise the onsite performance of the full funnel, ensuring that traffic generation and on-site conversion are aligned and measured as one cohesive system.
- Partner with the Performance Marketing Manager and the Senior Customer Growth Manager to connect customer insights and campaign performance data with on-site conversion performance, driving a unified optimisation strategy across all channels.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance conversion rate and user experience through data-led CRO initiatives across our global markets.
- Collaborate on campaign planning, creative briefing and landing page optimisation to maximise ROI from both acquisition and retention activity.
- Lead online trading and merchandising to ensure a refined, brand-aligned product presentation that drives sell-through and elevates user experience.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and seasonal trade performance reviews, providing actionable insights to both marketing and e-commerce leadership.
- Partner with the Digital Product team to evolve site features that support commercial and marketing objectives.
- Plan and execute seasonal and product launches in close coordination with marketing, ensuring cohesive storytelling from communication channels through to conversion.
- Ensure smooth execution of content and product updates, maintaining Tekla’s premium tone and visual integrity.
- Oversee SEO performance in partnership with our agency and the Performance Marketing Manager, leveraging organic and paid traffic insights to maximise overall funnel efficiency and conversion.
- Transform complex data into clear, insightful reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and elevate the customer experience through improved conversion performance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting through data-driven projections and scenario planning.
We’d love to hear from you if you are/have:
- 4+ years’ experience in an e-commerce trading role.
- Deep understanding of luxury customer behaviour and commercial performance drivers, combined with strong expertise in e-commerce best practices, CRO and digital analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in web analytics and tools (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar etc.).
- Experience managing and optimising online trading across multiple international markets (US, EMEA, APAC).
- Clear and confident communicator, skilled at building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Motivated by growth and committed to developing both the business and your team.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
This is a full-time role based in Copenhagen. We will review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, with the aim for the successful candidate to join us in February.
