Demand Manager

Copenhagen, Denmark

We are looking for a Demand Manager to lead how Tekla forecasts, aligns, and plans demand across the business.

In this role, you will own the integrity of our demand signal, connecting commercial ambition with operational reality and ensuring Finance, Commercial, and Supply work from a single, coherent view of the future. This means aligning what we purchase with what we expect to sell, giving the business confidence that revenue targets and the demand forecast tell the same story. Where targets are ambitious, you will ground them in reality, testing growth aspirations against historical patterns and ensuring plans remain credible and deliverable.

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Technology, you will partner with channel owners, Finance and Supply to lead our demand planning processes and systems, challenge targets constructively, and bridge the gap between top down revenue ambitions and bottom up product forecasts. In doing so, you will deliver one trusted plan the organisation can act on.

This is a hands-on role that balances analytical rigour with thoughtful facilitation. You will set the pace, align stakeholders, and step in where needed to turn plans into clear, practical outcomes.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Owning the end-to-end demand forecasting process and overall forecast accuracy
  • Driving the transformation of our planning capabilities from Excel into a dedicated planning system (Hakio) — leading the implementation from a Demand perspective, owning system configuration, methodology, and continuous improvement
  • Translating collection merchandising inputs, product lifecycle decisions, assortment changes, newness drops, into actionable demand forecasts
  • Working closely with Finance to reconcile revenue targets with bottom-up product forecasts, ensuring cash flow projections and demand forecasts are built on shared assumptions
  • Delivering a consolidated, trusted demand signal to Supply Planning to enable confident purchasing and inventory decisions
  • Leading the S&OP and Integrated Business Planning cadence, evolving it into a clear decision-making process
  • Providing the business with a realistic view of achievable revenue — surfacing where revenue targets and demand patterns don't align, and guiding stakeholders towards informed decisions
  • Eliminating shadow forecasts and ensuring one consistent version of the truth across functions
  • Forecasting demand for new product introductions (NPIs), working with Merchandising on range expectations and Marketing on qualitative signals around customer appeal and launch priorities
  • Tracking performance, analysing variances, and building feedback loops that continuously improve outcomes

We'd love to hear from you if you are / have:

  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or S&OP roles
  • Experience working with dedicated demand planning systems rather than spreadsheets
  • Strong understanding of how demand connects to supply, inventory, and financial planning
  • Comfortable facilitating alignment across Commercial, Finance, and Operations stakeholders
  • Confident challenging assumptions and influencing decisions with data
  • Analytical, structured, and detail oriented
  • Clear communicator who can translate planning complexity into practical actions
  • Experience in multi-channel environments such as e commerce, wholesale, or retail is a plus
  • Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning or S&OP best practices
  • Comfortable in an open-plan and curated workspace, aligned with the company’s norms and values
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted on an ongoing basis, with the aim of the successful candidate joining us in April.
