Digital Art Director

Copenhagen, Denmark

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-orientated Digital Art Director to join Tekla’s Brand & Marketing department, working as an integral part of our growing Brand team.

Rooted in a belief in quality, intention, and cultural resonance, Tekla is a brand where visual storytelling plays a pivotal role in shaping how our products, stores and philosophy are experienced. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to sustaining and developing Tekla’s visual language, by shaping and executing creative work that bridges brand and commerce with clarity, originality, and sensitivity.

As Digital Art Director, you will lead the creative vision for e-commerce and lookbook content, driving projects from concept to delivery. With a digital-first focus, you will create and optimise content across e-commerce, paid media and communications including UI/UX, stills and motion. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product and E-commerce teams, balancing conceptual ideas with commercial goals.

Reporting to the Senior Art Director, you’ll take ownership of multiple projects, balancing concept development with hands-on execution. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can shape brand experience with both rigour and strategic intent.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the creative vision for Tekla’s e-commerce and lookbook content from concept to delivery. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure still and motion assets reflect brand values while balancing storytelling and commerce.
  • Partner with the Senior Art Director on lookbooks, store captures and e-commerce imagery, ensuring all output aligns with Tekla’s voice and strengthens its visual identity.
  • Lead the visual development of Tekla’s website, paid media and digital channels. Create and optimise content for website, newsletters and social, ensuring assets are context-aware and platform-ready.
  • Support weekly roll-out planning with Marketing, Product and E-commerce teams, aligning creative work with business objectives, calendars and product stories.
  • Direct shoots and oversee production teams, collaborating with stylists, photographers, DOPs, casting directors, set designers and post-production partners.
  • Ensure assets are prepared, archived and distributed across the business with clear documentation and file integrity.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A strong background in art direction within fashion, lifestyle, or design, ideally at a premium or luxury brand, with an instinct for bridging creativity and commerce.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Strong graphic design skills to help shape the visual language of campaigns, e-commerce, and lookbooks, translating concepts into polished assets across digital and print.
  • A portfolio that shows conceptual strength, refined aesthetic sensibility, and storytelling across still and moving image.
  • Highly organised, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with experience managing e-commerce productions end-to-end.
  • Excellent research skills and a keen interest in cultural trends, architecture, design, and artistic movements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Experience directing photographers, stylists, producers, editors, and other creative partners.

This is a full-time position based in Copenhagen. Applications without a portfolio or work samples will not be considered.
