We are at a pivotal moment: following our $0.9B acquisition of Legacy Teads, we are integrating two global leaders. We are hiring a Director to lead our SEC reporting and technical accounting functions through this transformation. This role will manage our Manager of Technical Accounting and report to the Corporate Controller / CAO.
What You Will Do
- Own SEC Reporting: Lead the end-to-end SEC reporting process (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), including accelerating timelines, ensuring all disclosures are accurate, and managing the iXBRL process. Responsible for managing the earnings release process and reviewing all of the associated materials, as well as reviewing the annual Proxy.
- Own Key Controls (SOX): Act as the primary process owner for all technical accounting and reporting controls. You will be critical in designing and implementing high-risk key controls, especially for new M&A and debt areas, as you partner with our dedicated SOX team for our first-time 404(b) audit.
- Lead Key Technical Accounting Areas: Serve as the Company’s technical accounting expert on M&A transactions and the associated purchase accounting, goodwill impairment testing, lease accounting, debt financing transactions, and stock-based compensation (including actual and forecasted expense, EPS, ESPP plan, etc.)
- Lead & Develop: Lead, mentor, and develop the technical accounting and reporting team, including the direct management of the Manager, Technical Accounting.
- Set Global Policy: Serve as the company’s chief technical accounting expert, maintaining and developing global accounting policies through our post-merger integration.
Requirements:
- Active CPA and Big 4 public accounting (Manager or Senior Manager level) foundation is required.
- 12-15+ years of progressive accounting experience with deep, hands-on public company SEC reporting.
- Demonstrated experience as a key process owner designing and implementing complex SOX controls and successfully navigating a 404(b) audit.
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with complex M&A integration and purchase accounting, quantitative goodwill impairment assessments, complex debt arrangements, stock-based compensation and lease accounting.
- Proven history of solving complex operational and accounting challenges.
- Direct management experience of other accounting managers/professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workiva experience a plus.
- Consolidation system experience a plus
- XBRL experience strongly preferred
- Experience in the technology and/or internet advertising industries.

The pay range for this position is USD $200,000 to $260,000 annually including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Teads’ total rewards package.
