About the opportunity 

  • This role temporarily position for six mounts for a  Global Category Manager of Procurement, Technology
  • We are looking for someone who can quickly jump into reviewing SaaS agreements, assisting with negotiations, processing orders and quickly completing purchasing and contract management tasks 
  • This role will interface with key business partners and management, and foster trusted relationships with their global stakeholders - it is important the resource has excellent customer service skills, responds quickly to fast-paced requests and sets expectations with stakeholders in a timely manner
  • We are seeking an organized, process and data-driven individual with experience in: 
    • Redlining SaaS agreements, orders and amendments
    • Processing and approving PR/PO’s
    • Understanding global company structure and legal requirements
    • Gathering requirements, building cost analyses and calculating savings
    • Filing agreements and cleaning contract repositories

 

What will you do?

  • Guide the company throughout the Procure to Pay process including Sourcing, Contracting, Opening Purchase Requests, and matching Payments
    •  Troubleshoot Procure to Pay issues on a daily basis, working closely with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and AP
  • Support all contracting requests, manage renewals, and monitor contracting needs
    • Review and redline contracts for financial and commercial risks
    • Fully understand commercial agreements, including impact of commercial terms and required escalation points to Privacy, Security and Legal 
    • Accurately identify best contract templates to use in each situation
    • Quickly process high volume of quick-turn agreements, balancing fast service on simple agreements with escalation of large risks
    • Negotiate commercial and payment terms
    • Streamline inefficient contracting issues; identify vendor MSA and consolidation opportunities 
  • Support all purchasing requests and troubleshoot vendor management issues
    • Help users create and submit PO’s 
    • Approve PO’s and monitor P2P approvals on a daily basis
    • Troubleshoot payment issue
  • Contribute to a global team including: 
    • Contribute to standardized savings reporting and management reports
    • Help build, align and teach global purchasing standards

 

What will you bring to the team?

  • 1-5 Years in a relevant Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Purchasing role
  • Fluent in English, with ability to balance global and local requirements 
  • Contracting experience with standard legal templates, redlining protocol, understanding all aspects of business agreements
  • Experience and mastery with P2P systems (Coupa, Basware), CLM systems (Ironclad), Financial ERP’s (Netsuite, MS Dynamics) preferred
  • Excel and Powerpoint expertise
  • IT Category experience preferred 
  • Positive attitude and desire to help people
