Junior Risk Analyst (Betting)

We are looking for a Junior Risk Analyst to join the Risk team at Super and gain hands-on experience within a live betting operation. In this role, you will be directly involved in monitoring live bets and sportsbook activity, analysing betting trends, line movements, and exposure in real time. The position offers a strong foundation for developing analytical and decision-making skills in sports betting risk management, working closely with trading, technical, and data-driven teams.
This role is based in São Paulo.

What the role involves
- Monitor live bets, betting markets, and sportsbook activity in real time, identifying trends, exposure levels, and unusual betting behaviour.
- Analyse customer betting patterns and market movements to support trading and risk decisions, building awareness of specific customer profiles and betting behaviours as they emerge.
- Help minimise unwanted exposure, including integrity and market imbalance risks, and support the balancing of odds and markets to maintain competitiveness.
- Escalate real-time betting or market issues to the relevant trading teams and work closely with the Senior Risk Analyst team on customer management and ongoing market monitoring.
- Document betting activity and decisions through clear and accurate bet notes, and prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports related to betting activity and performance.
- Analyse key markets, events, and customers to identify vulnerabilities or inefficiencies, tracking rule changes, injuries, and emerging trends that influence betting performance and risk.
- Follow worldwide sporting events and in-play developments that may impact betting markets, identifying recurring betting strategies and adapting monitoring approaches accordingly.
What we are looking for
- Personal or professional experience in sports betting and a solid understanding of how betting platforms, markets, and wagering behaviour operate.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
- Highly organised with a structured approach to managing live betting workflows and a strong ability to prioritise in a high-volume, real-time environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with trading, technical, and data-driven teams.
- Flexibility and versatility to work according to business demands, including live betting hours.
- Proactive approach to learning with eagerness to develop expertise in sportsbook operations and customer risk management.
