Staff Content Designer - Consumer Experience

StubHub's seeking a Staff Content Designer for Consumer Experience, you’ll lead content strategy across key moments in the user journey—shaping how fans discover events, compare options, and feel supported every step of the way. You’ll partner closely with product, design, engineering, and research to drive product strategy, set clear narratives, and craft content that’s functional, human, and impactful. 

This is a hands-on role for a strategic thinker and strong craftsperson—someone who brings structure to ambiguity, champions the role of language in product quality, and helps define how content design is practiced across teams. You’ll play a key role in growing the discipline at StubHub, developing tools and processes to deliver high-quality content at scale.

About the team:

The Consumer Experience (CX) Team at StubHub is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. We're in search of a content design leader who can approach design through the lens of language—ensuring clarity, consistency, and user empathy throughout our product, fostering strong connections with our fans worldwide. 

What You'll Do:

  • Define and evolve StubHub’s content standards—including voice & tone, style guides, and integration with design systems—to systematically raise content quality and consistency across the product experience. 
  • Exercise strong product thinking—collaborating with design, product, and engineering to define product strategy and shape user experiences for business-critical initiatives. 
  • Lead content strategy and storytelling for key initiatives––shaping user flows, information architecture, in-product copy, and educational content.  
  • Drive the advancement and adoption of content creation tools and processes—including AI-assisted workflows—to improve efficiency and elevate quality at scale. 
  • Strengthen our localization approach to ensure clear and culturally attuned content in every market and language we serve.  
  • Partner with key stakeholders across communications, paid marketing, legal, and business operations to ensure a unified voice across the StubHub ecosystem. 
  • Coach and guide other designers to grow their skills, elevate their work, and contribute to a strong culture of craft.  

What You've Done:

  • 10+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy within a product development environment.  
  • A portfolio demonstrating breadth and proven writing experience in consumer-facing product experiences.  
  • A proven track record of launching product experiences that drive business results. You influence beyond copy—shaping prioritization, defining goals, and using experimentation to learn and iterate.  
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong attention to detail.  
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, iterative product development process.  
  • Experience in leveraging AI to scale high-quality content is highly desirable.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits. 

Salary Range

$170,000 - $240,000 USD
