ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

 

S-RM is looking for an experienced professional to play a key role in managing and building our Hong Kong Corporate Intelligence (‘CI’) team.

THE ROLE

 

The Associate Director role will involve joining the management team of the Asia offices as well as supporting the complex case workflow for the regional businesses. In addition to handling direct line management and training of juniors, this role will also involve oversight of case managers and editors in Hong Kong and Singapore. The role will report into the Head of Asia, based in Hong Kong,

 

In the context of the above, the role will involve:

 

  • Drive and build the team further, making additional hires to accommodate increasing workflows.
  • Management of case management, including management of case administration, workflow delivery, editorial processes, and QA processes.
  • Management of APAC client communications and periodic international travel to clients in Americas and Europe.
  • Collaboration with APAC CI management team around client development, capacity building, and other regional initiatives
  • Collaboration with global leadership in London to implement ongoing product development and quality alignment

 

Collaboration is an important part of our corporate ethos, and this team will develop alongside our wider regional team in Asia. The role will be based at our Hong Kong office. However, we have flexible working arrangements available.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We think candidates with the following skills and experience are likely to succeed as an Associate Director at S-RM.

We’re looking for someone that is able to adapt to change and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, this person will have some or all of these skills:

 

  • Extensive experience in the corporate intelligence, due diligence, and investigations sector, including experience leading teams delivering these services;
  • Detailed knowledge of the Malaysia market, including sectoral, client, and relevant local employment trends;
  • A strong background in people management;
  • A strong background in research administrative management
  • Fluency in English to an exacting standard;
  • Fluency in an Asian language;
  • A desire to keep a foot directly in delivery as well as ambitions to pass experience on to a growing team;

OUR BENEFITS

We offer thoughtful, balanced rewards and support to help our people do their best work and live their lives outside it, including:

  • Holiday – 20 days per year increasing to 25 days (+1 day for every year you worked at S-RM, up to a maximum of 5 days) in addition to bank holidays
  • MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund) – MPF mandatory minimum contribution is 5% which is currently capped at HKD$1,500 per month. On top of that we offer an additional 1% of voluntary matching contribution up to a total maximum of 6%.
  • Life insurance – 4x annual salary

 

Parental Support:

  • Maternity leave- 26 weeks of full pay followed by 13 weeks of half pay
  • Paternity leave- 6 weeks of full pay
