Talent development manager

The Talent Development Manager will play a key role in designing and implementing both external and internal L&D initiatives for our growing organization in Bulgaria. This role involves coordinating skill development projects, managing the LMS, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify skill gaps, create learning content, and support employee growth. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in training development, and a passion for fostering talent within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. External L&D Projects:

    • Design and implement external training programs aimed at developing talent for potential recruitment.
    • Partner with educational institutions and training providers to source high-quality learning content.
    • Coordinate marketing and outreach activities for external L&D programs to attract potential candidates.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of external training programs through participant feedback and performance metrics.
  2. Internal L&D Projects:

    • Collaborate with department heads to define learning and development needs, identify skill gaps, and design targeted training interventions.
    • Develop and implement internal training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and technical skill enhancement.
    • Support creation and maintenance of a comprehensive skill matrix for different roles within the organization.
    • Support skill assessments and identify skill gaps to inform training priorities and development plans.
  3. LMS Coordination and Content Creation:

    • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, user access, and tracking of training progress.
    • Develop engaging e-learning content, leveraging both internal resources and external content providers.
    • Ensure all training materials are up-to-date, aligned with business needs, and comply with industry standards.
    • Monitor LMS usage, analyze user feedback, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  4. Training Development and Coordination:

    • Design and develop training programs that align with business goals and address identified skill gaps.
    • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of training sessions, including workshops, webinars, and e-learning modules.
    • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to co-create specialized training content tailored to specific business needs.
    • Track and evaluate training effectiveness, using metrics such as participant feedback, skill improvement, and business impact.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

    • Act as the main point of contact for L&D requests from business leaders and department managers.
    • Present L&D plans, updates, and outcomes to key stakeholders, demonstrating the value and impact of learning initiatives.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on L&D strategies and initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Training Completion Rate: Percentage of employees who complete assigned training programs.
  • Skill Improvement: Measured by pre- and post-training skill assessments.
  • LMS Engagement: User engagement metrics, including course participation and feedback scores.
  • Skill Gap Reduction: Improvement in identified skill areas as measured through assessments.
  • Employee Feedback: Positive feedback scores from participants on training content and delivery.

Job Requirements / Skills:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related field, preferably within an IT or iGaming environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple L&D projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
  • Content Creation: Ability to design engaging training content, including e-learning modules, presentations, and training guides.
  • LMS Management: Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., 360Learning, Cornerstone, Moodle).
  • Skill Assessment: Strong analytical skills for conducting skill assessments and identifying development needs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; Bulgarian language proficiency is a plus.
