You will design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure, enhance CI/CD processes, improve observability standards, and support complex migrations from on-premises environments to Google Cloud Platform.

You will collaborate closely with other Team Leads within the department to ensure the cloud strategy is consistently implemented and that platform engineering practices are aligned across teams. Together, you will drive standardization, improve infrastructure governance, and promote reusable, scalable platform solutions that enhance developer experience and operational excellence.

You will also work closely with development teams, engineering managers, and stakeholders to ensure our systems are highly available, secure, scalable, and efficient.

This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who combines strategic thinking with deep hands-on expertise and thrives in complex, high-impact environments.

The following skills will be crucial:

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex, distributed systems, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement scalable solutions. Experience driving cross-team DevOps initiatives through direct technical contribution.
  • Proven ability to streamline operations across teams by developing automation solutions, refining CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to enhance reliability, scalability, and engineering productivity.
  • Strong experience aligning infrastructure and cloud strategy with organizational goals, collaborating with other Team Leads to ensure consistent implementation of cloud standards and platform engineering practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across disciplines to align infrastructure, deployment, and reliability strategies, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex and ambiguous technical challenges, define clear objectives and success metrics, and deliver efficient, practical, and scalable solutions.

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar
  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps Team Lead or technical leadership role
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers, including planning work, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring high delivery standards
  • Experience coordinating DevOps efforts across multiple teams and driving cross-team technical initiatives
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP)
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Proven experience building and optimizing observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana, including metrics design, alerting strategies, and dashboarding
