Internal Security Investigation Specialist

We are looking for an Fraud Investigation Specialist to join our team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Conducting and initiating audits of business processes to identify vulnerabilities, potential risks, and fraud schemes;
• Collaborating with security and investigation teams to detect and prevent internal fraud, financial manipulations, and other illicit activities;
• Performing in-depth investigations of suspicious activities, employee misconduct, financial fraud, and policy violations;
• Analyzing internal systems, financial transactions, and operational data to identify anomalies, red flags, and fraudulent patterns;
• Conducting interviews and gathering evidence in fraud-related cases;
• Assisting in forensic analysis and supporting legal or disciplinary actions against violators;
• Developing and implementing internal fraud detection controls and investigative methodologies;
• Preparing detailed reports with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for fraud mitigation;
• Keeping up with emerging fraud schemes, investigative techniques, and internal threat intelligence.

Essential professional experience:

• At least 2–3 years in internal audit, fraud investigation, forensic accounting, financial crime detection, or security risk assessment;
• Strong understanding of fraud detection techniques, forensic accounting, and internal misconduct investigations;
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data, detect irregularities, and assess financial and operational risks;
• Knowledge of internal fraud schemes, employee collusion risks, and methods for preventing corporate fraud;
• Experience in conducting internal investigations, employee interrogations, and handling sensitive information;
• Familiarity with data analytics tools, forensic analysis software, and fraud detection systems;
• Ability to assess threats, and identify fraud risks.
