About the Role
The successful candidate will join the central Permira Communications & Marketing team based in Madrid and work with the broader team across London, Madrid and Tampa. The role is focused on promoting Permira’s reputation and brand, internal communications and administration, and will include the responsibilities listed below:
- Marketing:
- Working with our internal team to develop and execute campaigns to support firm objectives
- Supporting the team with all branding and content projects across marketing channels
- Assisting with filming projects globally
- Working alongside the wider team in the management of our retained marketing creative, video and digital agencies
- Communications:
- Supporting on internal communication initiatives
- Assisting with external media activities, e.g. press releases/enquiry management/proactive PR
- Drafting and issuing internal newsletters
- Intranet management and updates
- Design and Presentations:
- Design lead, responsible for design agency output
- Assisting in drafting and maintain marketing collaterals for the firm, including factsheets, case studies, sector collaterals, newsletters, ad-hoc adverts (PowerPoint, Canva and InDesign)
- Assisting with updating documents, such as annual ESG reporting
- Administration:
- Assist with marketing and communications performance reporting across all platforms
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects
Essential Skills and Characteristics
- University degree, preferably with a focus on Marketing, Communications/PR, Business or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in a relevant field such as financial PR, agency, alternative asset management, investment banking or private equity
- Experience in media relations preferrable, design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Canva and InDesign) beneficial as well as website back-ends
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent English language skills, Spanish language skills advantageous but not essential
