Role summary
Investor Relations professional focusing on Sales Support activities across the MENA region. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the Capital Formation team, taking the lead on many tasks in support of the private equity and credit strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Servicing & Fundraising Support

  • Support the fundraising process for both equity and credit funds, with a focus on MENA markets and investors.
  • Provide support to potential investors during the fund due diligence process and also when not fundraising
  • Collaborate with teams in finance, legal, and fund operations to ensure efficient client services.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Permira funds and the portfolio companies.

Material Preparation, Market Intel

  • Work with Project Management team in London to prepare MENA centric fundraising materials (introductory pitchbooks, existing investor presentations, other analysis that is
    important for meetings with existing and prospective investors).
  • Organise fund roadshows and investor conferences by liaising with relevant counterparties.
  • Collaborate with the project management team in order to execute LP related requests and develop bespoke value added content
  • Gather relevant Investor and competitor updates via news sources. Aggregate data from Preqin, Dakota, Evestment, Pitchbook, FT, Private Equity International, MandateWire.
  • Proactively work with the coverage team to map prospective investors across the MENA region to convert them into new LP investors across the different strategies.

Desired Experience/Background:

  • 2-5 years of experience in private markets investor relations (institutional fundraising, sales, business development) or a related field
  • Strong written and communication skills in English, Arabic language skills beneficial
  • Demonstrated fluency with capital markets and the ability to clearly articulate how and why Permira`s product offerings will perform within various industry conditions
  • Client-service oriented with an outstanding work ethic and hands on attitude
  • High degree of financial literacy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
  • Team player and good at quickly building relationships with colleagues across the organisation
  • Able to work in large and diversified global teams and to interact with senior management
  • High level of self-motivation, integrity and judgement, and morality
