At Nuvolar, we value international talent, diversity, flexibility, and a collaborative work environment that fosters both professional growth and personal well-being.

About the Role

Join us as a Salesforce Developer to contribute to a strategic project in the healthcare insurance sector, working on a Consent & Preferences Management solution built on top of Salesforce’s ecosystem.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions that ensure compliance with data privacy regulations while improving how consent and preference data is managed and shared across digital channels.

You will work with both declarative and programmatic Salesforce tools, collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and QA teams, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing, deployment, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical team members and stakeholders regarding progress, technical challenges, and solution designs.
  • Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Omnistudio (Omniscripts).
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Perform data migrations, transformations, and data loading from legacy systems into Salesforce.
  • Design and implement complex sharing and security models using both declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Follow QA and code review guidelines, Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines, while helping the team continuously improve.
  • Design and implement test plans to ensure quality across application components, including code coverage, scalability, security, and environment independence.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, technical stories and epics, and system architecture documentation.
  • Perform ROM estimations and participate in technical investigations (spikes).
  • Support Nuvolar’s thought leadership initiatives by collaborating on strategic content, participating in webinars, and representing the company at relevant industry events.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of demonstrable experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce architecture principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong object-oriented programming principles, knowledge of design patterns, and understanding of SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with deployment and release management tools such as Copado, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps solutions.
  • Experience writing unit tests and ensuring code quality.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply new technologies beyond the core Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I (or preferably Platform Developer II) and/or Platform App Builder.
