At Nuvolar, we build tailor‑made solutions for highly regulated and complex sectors, combining modern technology with a people-first mindset. With 100+ team members and over 14 years of experience, we foster a collaborative culture that encourages professional growth and personal well-being.
Join us as a QA Automation Engineer to work on a real laboratory testing environment, contributing both to manual and automated testing for a complete and interconnected ecosystem of products in the pharmaceutical industry.
About the Role
We are looking for a well-rounded QA Automation Engineer who can design and execute manual functional tests as well as create and maintain automated test cases within an existing framework.
You will extend and maintain the test automation suite while handling day-to-day QA activities such as regression, integration, smoke testing, and bug verification. This role is ideal for someone with strong test design skills, attention to detail, and solid QA execution experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases with clear coverage and traceability to requirements.
- Maintain and add automated test cases within existing automation frameworks.
- Execute regression, integration, and verification tests as part of day-to-day QA.
- Report defects and collaborate with developers to ensure quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of QA experience.
- Strong test design skills with clear, well-structured test cases.
- Solid experience with JIRA/Xray or similar test management tools.
- Experience maintaining and extending automated tests within an existing framework (automation support, not framework design).
- Good communication skills in English and experience working in Agile environments.
What to expect from us?
- Flexible Work & Work-Life Balance: enjoy options to balance work and personal life, including every other Friday off.
- Hybrid Work Mode: for this specific project, onsite presence is required 2 days per week. While the days are not strictly fixed, they are usually Tuesday and Thursday. The rest of the week can be remote.

- Social & Team Budget: even though we primarily work remotely, we encourage team gatherings and activities, with a dedicated budget.
