Mid-level DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the delivery, automation, and reliability of enterprise-scale cloud platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, observability, and infrastructure automation.
In this role, you will collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to improve deployment processes, enhance platform stability, and support modernization initiatives. You will contribute to building scalable, secure, and highly available environments while helping drive DevOps best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Operations
• Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Assist in cloud migration, modernization, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational stability across environments.
🔹 Automation & Infrastructure as Code
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or similar tools.
• Automate operational processes, infrastructure provisioning, and routine administrative tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by reducing manual interventions through automation.
🔹 CI/CD & DevOps Enablement
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes, deployment consistency, and engineering productivity.
• Support testing, deployment, and rollback strategies across environments.
🔹 Containerization & Kubernetes
• Manage and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist with deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting of cloud-native applications.
• Support platform engineering initiatives and container orchestration best practices.
🔹 Monitoring & Operational Support
• Monitor system health and performance using observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog, and ELK Stack.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.
• Implement monitoring and alerting improvements to enhance platform reliability.
🔹 Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Maintain operational documentation, deployment procedures, and technical standards.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and adoption of DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, IAM concepts, and cloud security principles.
- Experience working with Git and version control workflows.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Helm and Kubernetes package management.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Experience supporting APIs, platform services, or distributed systems.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale modernization and cloud transformation programs.
- Experience working in Agile environments and distributed teams.
