Project Manager - Banking ERP - 2-Year Engagement

Location: Amman, Jordan.
Years of Experience: 14+ years.
Project Duration: 2 years.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

The Project Manager – Banking ERP will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives within a banking or financial services environment. The role involves managing large-scale ERP implementations and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure systems are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• 14+ years of experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale ERP implementation or transformation projects within banking or financial services

• Strong understanding of ERP systems used in financial institutions

• Experience overseeing full ERP lifecycle delivery including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder projects across business and technology teams

• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management

• Experience managing system integration with other enterprise platforms

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field

• Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills

• Ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ERP implementation projects within the banking or financial services environment

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure smooth project execution

• Oversee requirements gathering, system configuration, customization, testing, and deployment

• Manage ERP integrations with core banking systems and other enterprise applications

• Monitor project progress, track milestones, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies

• Ensure adherence to banking regulatory, security, and compliance requirements

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation activities

• Provide regular project status updates and governance reporting to senior leadership

• Support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives
