Purpose of role
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you play a critical role in supporting the talent acquisition needs of Man Group across key business areas. This position focuses on delivering exceptional talent acquisition services, acting as a proactive and dynamic resource for hiring needs while adhering to the pillars of being technology-enabled, candidate-centric, consultative partners, and cost-effective (low agency reliance).
You are responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process, ensuring the highest quality candidate experience, and driving operational efficiency. Reporting into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you work collaboratively with hiring managers and other stakeholders to meet team goals and continually improve talent acquisition processes. Additionally, your role involves building strong stakeholder relationships, leveraging market insights, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience at all levels while also promoting diversity and inclusion across the talent acquisition function.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Talent Acquisition Support:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop and post inclusive and engaging job descriptions across appropriate channels to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Source candidates directly through advanced techniques, including job boards, databases, professional networks, and headhunting.
- Screen CVs and conduct thorough candidate evaluations to ensure alignment with role requirements and business needs.
Candidate Pipeline Management:
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for key business functions, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality candidates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
- Manage communication with candidates, including coordinating interviews and providing timely feedback to ensure a smooth process.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to deliver tailored and effective talent acquisition solutions.
- Provide expertise to hiring managers on best practices, market conditions, and candidate expectations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to share insights, resolve challenges, and implement consistent practices.
Technology-Enabled Approach:
- Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Workday, to manage end-to-end talent acquisition workflows efficiently.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the ATS, producing actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:
- Develop strategies to attract and engage diverse candidates across all roles.
- Proactively support DE&I initiatives by embedding inclusive practices into every stage of the talent acquisition process.
Cost-Effective Practices:
- Prioritize direct sourcing methods to minimize reliance on external agencies and reduce overall talent acquisition costs.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies within the talent acquisition process, contributing to broader organizational goals.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, either in-house or agency, with exposure to full-cycle hiring. P
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and team members.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and provide an excellent candidate experience.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- A self-starter who can take ownership of the talent acquisition process and drive results.
