Role description:

We are looking to hire a highly innovative, organized, and flexible team member to join our successful Managed Accounts Middle Office team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a specific, but not limited to, focus on overseeing daily processes and controls, producing client reporting and have stakeholder interactions. This role will encompass a suite of daily tasks, longer-term projects, and direct interaction with the platform’s North American client base.

Our hedge fund managed account platform is a growing and fast-paced area of the business, requiring the ability to work collaboratively and innovatively within a robust control environment. The Managed Accounts Middle Office team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the platform, including oversight of daily processes, ensuring timely and accurate client reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships.

This role will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as external service providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing client reporting, PnL analysis, and service provider oversight while ensuring our policies and procedures are adhered to. Additionally, they will play a key role in platform initiatives, taking ownership of decisions to drive improvements and efficiencies.

You will gain experience in multiple areas of middle office operations while acquiring valuable insights into the hedge fund industry.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor each service providers’ day-to-day fund deliverables against service levels
  • Ensure all day-to-day operational processes are completed according to deadlines and agreed quality controls. Some examples include.
  • Cash and Collateral payments
  • Fund performance and fee review
  • Client queries and reporting
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client deliverables are met to the highest quality
  • Work with team members to develop and deliver reporting, answer client queries as well as assist the wider business where necessary

We will be excited to hear from people who have:

  • +3 years’ equivalent experience
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify new solutions to drive our platform, capabilities, and team forward
  • High levels of pro-activity, organization, self-motivation, and ownership to deliver
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of speaking with and reaching multiple audiences
  • Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming language is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Office suite.

Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
