Purpose of Role:
 
The Marketing Associate Italy role sits within Man Group’s Global Channel team and reports into the Marketing Strategist for Italy, it is a hybrid role which combines marketing, client and investment services. The role is a great opportunity to learn and gain a broad experience within the Asset Management sector.This is a key role in the execution of our regional marketing strategy in the Italian market. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Support the execution of the channel marketing strategy to position and promote the firm’s reputation, branding, investment capabilities and products in Italy, mainly across the wealth channel
  • Collaborate extensively with the Italian sales team to get their insights and support their implementation to the regional marketing strategy, i.e., work on Italian language materials for the wealth channel, support in preparing dedicated presentations for client events, or special projects
  • Support in running and promoting our webinars
  • Supporting and ensuring Italian language content is up to date and maintained on the local language website
  • Responsibility for maintenance and update of Italian language marketing materials
  • Deliver email campaigns (both organic and paid)
  • Supporting on client events in close collaboration with the sales team and paid amplification activities across the regions
  • Support on Italian channel social media and paid amplification activities
  • Broader EMEA Channel support
  • Team and office admin tasks
 
Technical Competencies:
The Marketing Associate role is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary and dynamic position; the candidate will work in close collaboration with colleagues in Sales, Relationship Management, Client Services, Investment Management as well as across the global marketing team. As an ideal candidate, you will possess the following qualifications:
  • Some experience in institutional and/or wealth marketing or sales support within the investment management industry
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management/organizational skills, including ability to multi-task, be consistently responsive, and manage changing priorities while meeting often tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with creative teams, sales executives, internal business partners and external vendors.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity; continuously seek out ways to improve upon and elevate effective marketing strategies.
  • Passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment.
  • A general understanding of the marketplace
  • Fluent in Italian and English essential – spoken and written.
