What you will do

As our new Strategic Finance Associate, you will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and will dive into our financial data, extracting key insights and crafting compelling narratives to guide strategic decision-making.You will collaborate closely with various teams, becoming a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including C-level stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a nascent function within a rapidly growing company, focusing on analytical work and business partnering. You'll gain broad exposure to all aspects of our business and have the chance to directly impact our strategic direction.

Where you will have impact

  • Prepare reports for board meetings and leadership requests, directly interacting with senior management.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive key business decisions.
  • Collaborate with department leads, understanding their budget needs and providing financial guidance.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc analyses and special projects, gaining exposure to diverse financial challenges.
  • Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial planning processes.
  • Work closely with senior management, providing financial guidance and support.

About our team

The finance team at Lighthouse is a dynamic and collaborative group of experts. We are responsible for all aspects of financial management, from accounting and reporting to strategic planning and analysis. We're divided into two main areas: corporate finance (tax, audit, etc.) and the newly formed FP&A team (business partnering, analysis, and reporting) which you'll be a key part of. We work closely with all departments, ensuring the financial health and stability of the company. We are a supportive and knowledgeable team, always eager to share our expertise.

Who you are

Essential

  • Hold a Master's degree in an analytical field (e.g., Economics, Engineering, Business, or related fields)
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual.
  • Exhibit a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Are eager to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
