Learning & Organizational Development Specialist
Role Description
The Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Specialist at Kimbal will support the design, execution, and evaluation of learning, capability-building, and organizational development initiatives. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about learning, people development, and building strong organizational capabilities in a growing, technology-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of learning and development programs (technical, behavioural, and leadership)
- Coordinate training calendars, nominations, logistics, and post-training evaluations
- Assist in identifying learning needs through data, feedback, and stakeholder inputs
- Support onboarding and induction programs for new hires
- Maintain training records, learning dashboards, and MIS reports
- Support organization development initiatives such as competency frameworks, career paths, and engagement interventions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external training partners
- Assist in creating learning content, presentations, and communication materials
Current Focus & Challenges
- Building scalable learning programs to support a rapidly growing workforce
- Driving learning adoption and engagement among diverse employee groups
- Measuring learning effectiveness and translating it into on-the-job impact
- Supporting managers in developing team capabilities and leadership skills
- Aligning learning initiatives with evolving business and technology needs
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development
- Engineering background is preferred (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical)
- Strong interest in learning, facilitation, and people development
- Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with comfort in data, reports, and feedback analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and LMS tools is a plus
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
