We're currently seeking a Senior Sales Consultant with a natural knack for building rapport, cultivating relationships, and a relentless commitment to delivering results. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in the Not-for-Profit and/or Membership sector, particularly those who have excelled in driving sales of Custom and Microsoft based Agile software and software development solutions or similar.

Working directly with the industry leadership team, you will be part of a growing ambitious and entrepreneurial digital technology business with a significant reputation in the sectors it serves. For the right person, the opportunity is there to hit the ground running with a large client portfolio and pipeline for development.

 

About you

  • You should ideally possess a background in selling into the Not-for-Profit and Membership sectors within a technology organisation, specialising in CRM, ERP, Data, or other Cloud technology solutions.
  • Preferred experience within the Microsoft technology channel, although familiarity with platforms like Salesforce may be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience in thriving within target-driven environments and excelling in customer-facing roles is crucial.
  • You bring creativity to your work and enjoy coming up with ideas for how things can be improved.
  • A strong inclination towards learning, embracing feedback, and continuously enhancing your skill set is essential.
  • You are a team-player with a can-do attitude, not afraid of hard work and understanding the need to always go the extra mile in pursuit of shared goals.

 

Primary accountabilities

  • Supported by the industry Pre-Sales Architect and a range of other team support, you will procure opportunities with both new prospects and within existing allocated accounts to achieve sales order targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture a resilient pipeline of opportunities to foster and drive future growth.
  • Own and drive the production of tender responses including the identification of key win themes and bringing together the relevant Kerv capabilities to articulate our value.
  • Forge and sustain robust relationships with both allocated and prospective accounts.
  • Identify and eloquently convey customer challenges and desired outcomes to tailor the most suitable solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with key industry partner organisations.
  • Deliver presentations showcasing solutions that offer tangible business value to customers.
  • Adhere to sales governance protocols to ensure quality and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date information on opportunities for effective forecasting and strategic planning.

Day to day activity

  • Responsible for qualifying, pursuing and closing marketing qualified (MQL) and partner sourced leads - maintain regular contact and work within the Business Unit to coordinate responses.
  • Proactively drive regular contact and upsell activity within allocated accounts - including the development of strategic account plans, holding regular account meetings and sharing relevant information
  • Conduct regular account planning sessions with Microsoft contacts from allocated Microsoft managed accounts - jointly target, develop offerings and secure funding.
  • Deliver presentations and coordinate demos and proposals that address customer needs.
  • Prepare internal presentations for Opportunity Review Boards and Commercial Review Boards
  • Coordinate customer proposals and related internal commercial documentation.
  • Regularly update information within CRM.
