Central to our world-class value chain is our Procurement team. Their sharp commercial instincts and meticulous supplier management skills are key to both the development of our premium-quality workwear, as well as the operational success of our business.

We are now seeking a visionary Procurement Leader to join our team at Jonsson Workwear HQ in Durban. You will play a critical role in monitoring and controlling raw material stock levels by guiding your team’s strategic purchasing decisions to ensure optimal stockholding, all while aligning with operational budgets and business requirements.

Your strategic mindset, energising leadership, and collaborative approach will be instrumental in driving supplier performance, optimising procurement processes, and upholding our commitment to excellence.

• Oversee the effective management of our raw materials supplier base, drive exceptional supplier performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing Procurement team by cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation and proactive learning that facilitates exceptional results.
• Leverage the negotiation skills needed to make cost-effective, quality-focused and sustainable purchasing choices while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Demonstrate communication skills to build strong relationships and ensure alignment with both internal teams and external partners.
• Apply sharp commercial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain to identify opportunities, optimise processes and drive cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Forecasting, Production Planning and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless alignment and proactively resolve potential challenges.
• Continuously evaluate and refine procurement processes to improve efficiency and meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Demonstrate flexibility, resilience and timely decision-making skills to navigate challenges and changing circumstances.
