  • Working model - Onsite (5 days in the office)

Role overview: 

As the Senior Insight Analyst, you will have the ability to delve into variety of complex data and translate this into meaningful and high-impact actionable insights. You will have well developed experience in visualizing data and be skilled in using a wide range of analytical tools to build well designed data visualizations. You will be a great communicator, who is able to see the big picture, connect data points to produce larger narratives and present persuasively to senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Analysing and interpreting complex data in order to formulate relevant conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders.

  • Experience of synthesising complex and ambiguous information in order to drive actionable insight brought to life through communication and visualisation.
  • Supporting relevant stakeholders through quantitative analytics, and the application of appropriate
  • Proactively developing insight and analysis skills and understanding of the market & business
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilise data to conclude actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and clear identification of possible actions based upon insight.
  • Working in a fast-paced and exciting function and perform deep dive analytics.
  • Work on numerous projects around loyalty, customer analytics, segmentations, CRM, Data Science, marketing analytics, channel analysis and customer acquisition
  • Analysing and interpreting data to identify patterns and implications.
  • Preparing detailed analysis with clear high-level take-outs and present to senior marketing stakeholders and/or key business stakeholders
  • Providing regular standard data driven market intelligence information to the market insight team regarding the external business & individual landscape

Role objectives and KPI’s:

The objective of this role is to identify value and drive change throughout the business. You will need to help the organisation understand customer behaviour via depth analysis and be able to present complex data back to Senior Stakeholders in an easily digestible manner. You will act as the bridge between the data team and the business stakeholder. You should emphasise and drive collaboration on projects from end to end. Your role is focussed on accentuating action derived from the insight rather just learning from data.

Working with Stakeholders is key in the role. You will demonstrate a clear interest in understanding the issues that business units are facing. You need to be able to have adaptable approach to the internal and external to harness the best possible outcomes.

Relating and Networking

You will need to develop and establish relationships within business so that Insights that the derive land and are adapted due to the trust built. You will need to be able to communicate at all levels from executive to Director and understand the differing approaches required.

Presenting and Communicating Information

You will need to be a clear a concise communicator, who speaks with passion on the topics being demonstrated. You will have the ability to present data in a visually engaging manner that sparks discourse.

Analysing

You will be need to be able to understand the data from end to end and explain the underlying logic that has lead to the outcomes. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have understood wider constraints and the best way forward.

Learning and Researching

You will need to be able to take a proactive approach to the role and tasks that need undertaking. Presenting proposals on what you see as important to undertake deep dives in the business

Skills and Experience:

  • Preferably undergraduate degree in a numerical subjet
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an advanced analytics and insight
  • Have experience working in a fast paced, high growth, consumer facing business.
  • Strong knowledge of Multi-Channel and multi-device engagement across digital channels
  • Ability to drive actionable insight from a myriad of data sources.
  • Commercial experience using Advance SQL is essential and any experience in R or Python would be a distinct advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills and some VBA experience
  • Advanced Power BI using DAX / developer essential.
  • Web analytics experience in Google Analytics or equivalent tools
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and to tight deadlines with an excellent attention to detail.

Training requirements for the role:

To enhance supervision, leading and management skills it is desirable to undertake the MDP/LDP course provided by JD people so that can develop holisitic management skills in line with the expectations and framework of the wider organisation.

The ability to show development of SQL, Power BI and Presentation Skills. They need to be working towards becoming technical user. To be able to be the go-to person within the team in terms of how to deliver concise commercial insights.

  • Training in Azure and Oracle.
  • Training on our data landscape ( Mesh, Shogun, Charged sales, IIB, Aurora, PIM etc.)
  • Presentation and communication skill required to present insights to non-technical and technical audiences
  • Training in PBI
  • Training on company policies, ethics , data security.
