Mission Brief

This role supports the development and documentation of electrical harnesses for an orbital launch vehicle. Tasks include database maintenance, basic harness design, and interpretation of schematics and system-level diagrams. The position offers hands-on experience in harness engineering within a multidisciplinary aerospace environment.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

Process and maintain the sensor database and update department documentation
Keep the electrical component database current and create new entries as needed
Design simple harnesses such as umbilicals, jumpers, test harnesses, and vehicle harnesses
Interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts
Read and understand system-level diagrams to support harness integration
Assist in aligning harness designs with avionics, sensors, actuators, and fluid systems
Support documentation for harness manufacturing and integration
Collaborate with engineers across departments to ensure data consistency and design alignment

Qualification Checklist

Enrolled in a BSc/MSc program in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Experience or coursework in electrical design and documentation
Familiarity with electrical harness design with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical or similar)
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and system-level diagrams
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Bonus Skills

Experience with mechanical design in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks / CATIA / NX)
Familiarity with aerospace or automotive electrical systems
