Working Student, Ground Systems (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

As a member of the Ground Fluid Systems Team, you will be assisting the team in the design and project work around ground facilities used for launching rockets, testing rocket engines or other components of the launch vehicle.

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

  • Compile design/manufacturing guidelines for external subcontractors based on our design specifications for piping systems
  • Create templates or documents for project and engineering documentation to support our internal project workflows
  • Help to draft and streamline processes within the Ground Fluid Systems Team
  • Assist design engineers in a wide range of tasks

Qualification Checklist 

  • Currently enrolled in your BSc/MSc studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and or piping systems
  • Passionate about new space, curious and eager to learn
  • Can-do attitude and desire to go out of your way to help others
  • Humility and outstanding communication skills
  • Eager to take ownership and accountability for your own actions and mistakes
  • Fluent in English
