Senior Recruiter

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter to lead our talent initiatives for our Hong Kong office across both Experienced and Campus recruitment. Your remit will include hiring across Trading, Technology, and Business Operations, offering a unique opportunity to impact IMC’s hiring strategy across multiple talent segments.

You will be part of a global recruiting team, working closely with colleagues in APAC and beyond, to build scalable and innovative recruitment processes that attract top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute on experienced hiring targets across Trading, Technology and Business Operations for the Hong Kong office predominantly with additional Sydney roles where applicable, working with hiring managers to build and manage strategic pipelines.
  • Design and execute full-cycle recruitment for internship and graduate roles in Hong Kong and support efforts across the APAC region.
  • Partner with recruitment agencies, top universities and student groups to develop meaningful, long-term relationships that strengthen IMC’s brand.
  • Manage pipeline during peak campus recruitment seasons, ensuring high-quality, efficient processes.
  • Identify and drive improvements to our hiring strategies—leveraging data, feedback, and market insights.
  • Represent IMC at recruiting events, conferences, and networking functions, serving as a key ambassador for our values and culture.
  • Collaborate with recruitment and marketing teams globally to align on best practices, tools and employer branding efforts.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of recruitment experience across both experienced and campus/early careers hiring
  • Specific experience hiring quant research, and engineering talent is desirable
  • Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, especially in high-volume recruitment settings.
  • A thoughtful and data-driven approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—capable of building trust across diverse stakeholders and cultures.
  • Global perspective with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and offices.
  • Prior experience in finance, tech, or high-growth environments is preferred.
  • Humility, curiosity, and a strong team-first attitude.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin; proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for campus and industry events as needed.
