
Office Manager
The Operations Manager will oversee Facilities and Office Management for IMC’s New York office, playing a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing excellence of the space. You will be critical to ensuring our office delivers an industry-leading experience for employees, candidates and guests. When the office is established, the primary focus will be to lead the facilities and workplace experience teams cohesively and efficiently to create an engaging and functional office environment in New York. This high-impact, rewarding opportunity will require you to be independent, proactive, flexible, and creative. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders across teams in our fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to define the strategic goals and longer-term plans for our workspace in New York.
- Support the build-out of the New York office, with a focus on delivering an exceptional employee experience.
- Work closely with building management, suppliers, vendors, and service contractors to maintain and improve our space, emphasizing accountability. Oversee operations within our office space to ensure a comfortable and productive environment for our team and guests.
- Ensure effective coordination between the Office Management and Facilities teams.
- Coordinate with the Facilities team to set up new employee workspaces; address workspace area standards and ergonomic issues; modify equipment and office layouts to meet changing business needs; and assess current and future needs for space, furniture, and equipment.
- Partner with IMC’s Technology teams to ensure employees have a highly productive environment, by facilitating the installation of network infrastructure and other hardware.
- Coordinate with other teams to host events for our employees, both in- and outside of our office space.
- Effectively manage concurrent projects across departments and stakeholders.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Broad experience across office management, facilities operations, and construction projects, with proven skills in project management, resource planning, and space design.
- Proven experience in managing vendor relationships effectively
- 5+ years of experience managing high-performing office management teams.A proactive demeanor and a willingness to be hands-on when necessary to complete tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the firm
- Experience building relationships and working collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, complemented by a solid understanding of technical solutions such as ticketing systems.
- Facilities management certifications are a plus but not required.
The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
