Technical Service Engineer (f/m/d)

 This position is open in Rennes, Munich or Berlin.

IDnow is strengthening its Internal IT Team! As part of the Support Team ( level 2nd) you will work closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. You will get in contact with every product and system we offer, managing critical situations and driving solution finding.

Main Role and Tasks

  • You support our diverse set of customers, from big companies to small startups, by resolving escalations, helping them effectively use our app, and ensuring they successfully integrate with our solutions
  • You identify areas for product improvements and work closely with various teams to develop technical solutions
  • Investigation in database, logs and source code.
  • Create tools to make analysis more efficient.
  • Empower customer success to help our customers faster.

That Describes You

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in the IT environment regarding software development, technical solutions, as well as second-level support.
  • Academic background in Engineering and/or advanced degree in a technical field required.
  • SQL programming is essential, with experience in other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) being highly valued, particularly Python
  • You are also familiar with state-of-the-art technologies (e.g., HTTP(S), REST, iOS/Android).
  • You are located in France or Germany and have several years of professional experience as a second-level support, (technical) project manager, or software engineer.
  •  Understanding and interpreting code is required, with programming skills preferred to support the team’s growth and drive product innovation
