This position is based in Rennes, France.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI/ML-powered identity verification services. You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex systems. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Python and relevant frameworks 
• Identify, document, and track bugs and quality issues through their full lifecycle 
• Improve and refine QA/testing processes to enhance services quality and reliability 
• Work closely with developers, data scientists, product managers, customer support, operations, and other stakeholders 
• Operate within an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint ceremonies and contributing to high-quality releases 
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration to enable continuous quality validation 
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices across teams 

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in software QA and automation. 
• Strong hands-on skills in Python for test automation. 
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 
• Familiarity with tools such as pytest, Postman, Locust, or similar testing frameworks 
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) 
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI). 
• Proactive, autonomous, and confident in making technical QA decisions. 
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail 
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French language skills are a plus. 

Bonus skills: 

• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy considerations in testing environments 
• Experience with testing services communicating via message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) using Protocol Buffer (Protobuf) interfaces 
• Familiarity with cloud-based test environments or containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Experience with QA testing of Machine Learning or AI services, including statistical testing methodologies, handling and validating large datasets
