Staff Product Manager (f/m/d)

The Position

We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our Merchant Experience (MX) team at Hive. This is a senior IC role for a design leader who thrives in ambiguity, loves driving end-to-end product quality, and wants to shape the future of merchant operations across Europe.

You’ll work at the intersection of strategy and craft - partnering with leadership to shape product direction while also driving hands-on design execution across our customer-facing experiences.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the experience vision. Partner with product and engineering to set the north star for merchant experience across our Hive App and Customer Portal.
• Drive strategic initiatives. Take the lead on large, complex projects—elevating UX quality, simplifying merchant workflows, and ensuring cohesion across touchpoints.
• Mentor and elevate others. Be a multiplier for the design team by coaching others, sharing feedback, and fostering design excellence.
• Champion user outcomes. Embed research and feedback loops into the product lifecycle to ensure we solve the right problems and drive user value.
• Raise the design bar. Ensure all shipped work meets high standards of craft, usability, and product-market fit.
• Own cross-team design initiatives. Identify experience gaps across surfaces, drive cross-functional alignment, and implement systems-level design solutions.

Your profile

•    6+ years of experience in product design, including time as a senior IC driving strategic work.
• Strong UX craft and a portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking, storytelling, and polished execution.
• Experienced in leading end-to-end product initiatives—from research to rollout.
• Deep collaboration skills, especially in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable setting design vision and managing ambiguity.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and impact-driven—thriving in high-growth environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for multi-surface platforms (e.g., web, mobile, internal tools).
• Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or operational tooling.
• Experience influencing leadership and driving org-wide design strategy.
