Talent Acquisition Lead (f/m/d)

The position

As our Talent Acquisition Lead (f/m/d), you will own and elevate everything that helps Hive attract and hire exceptional talent. You’ll lead a team of 3–5 and build scalable systems, processes, and tools to help Hive grow from currently 400 people to our next phase of expansion. This is a role for a builder and leader who loves combining strategy, systems, and people — and understands that who we hire determines who we become.

  • High impact: Who we hire is one of the most important drivers of Hive’s success. You will shape our ability to grow and the composition of our teams for years to come.
  • International scope: Lead our TA team across all our markets: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, and beyond, ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate experience everywhere.
  • Strategic ownership: You will become a trusted member of the People Leadership Team, partnering closely with executives and functional leads on workforce planning, org design, and hiring priorities.

  • Experienced talent acquisition leader: You’ve led TA teams of 3+ in a start-up or scale-up environment and can balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership.
  • Growth-stage expertise: You’ve seen what it takes to scale from ~400 to 1000+ employees, and know how to balance structure with agility.
  • Systems builder: You think in processes and data. You’re excited to use automations, analytics, and AI tools to improve hiring quality, speed, and recruiter productivity.
  • Exceptional communication: You communicate clearly and empathetically in English, fostering trust and alignment across teams and leadership levels.
  • Culture carrier: You care deeply about candidate experience and understand the link between hiring and company culture.
  • Berlin-based (or willing to relocate): We believe great people leadership happens best in person. For this role, being primarily based in Berlin is a requirement.
