Lead Automation QA Engineer

Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring the highest standards of quality in both manual and automated testing;

Review and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality;

Research and implement tools for quality verification of the product;

Develop, implement, and maintain automated tests;

Lead the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and bug reports;
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality integration throughout the development process;

Provide support and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering collaboration within the team;
-
Ensure effective communication between development and QA teams to resolve issues and improve quality;
-
Lead the identification, tracking, and resolution of technical debt related to QA processes.
We need your professional experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript;

Experience in creating and maintaining test frameworks from scratch, including integration with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI);
-
Experience in UI, API, and regression testing automation;

Knowledge of REST API principles and experience with API testing tools;

Experience working with Git, Jira, TestRail, and other test management tools;
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role within QA, including mentoring and team management;

Experience in implementing test strategies and building quality assurance processes from the ground up;

Ability to communicate with various stakeholders (developers, managers, business analysts) to define testing requirements;

Experience in managing technical debt and optimizing testing processes;

Knowledge of SQL for data validation;

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) will be a plus;

Presence of certifications such as ISTQB will be a plus.
