About the role: We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Field & Community Marketing Manager to join our team and support both our field marketing initiatives and community-building efforts across local markets. In this role, you will work closely with the commercial team, which includes inbound and field sales managers, to generate leads, build relationships with key customers, and engage with local communities in the UK and Ireland. You will act as the bridge between Flipdish and local businesses, driving awareness, advocacy, and customer loyalty in our key focus cities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Marketing:

    • Plan, execute, and optimise localised marketing campaigns to drive demand generation and support lead conversion from inbound and field sales teams.
    • Organise and manage local events, such as trade shows, product show cases, meetups, and partner events, to promote Flipdish and build relationships with prospective customers.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Manager to develop tailored sales enablement tools and collateral to engage local takeaways and Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) effectively.
    • Track and report on field marketing campaign performance, optimising efforts to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Community Building & Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for managing local communities of Flipdish customers, identifying hero customers and brand advocates.
    • Create and manage local WhatsApp groups, online forums, and other communication channels to engage with customers and foster an active, collaborative community.
    • Organise and host local meetups, networking events, and focus groups to strengthen relationships with existing customers and attract new takeaways.
    • Engage with local influencers, food bloggers, and industry leaders to amplify Flipdish’s brand presence and support community-driven marketing efforts.
  • Content Creation & Advocacy:

    • Organise and produce local podcasts, video content, and case studies that highlight success stories, showcase Flipdish’s impact, and demonstrate the value of our platform.
    • Work with the PR team to engage with local media, securing press coverage and building Flipdish’s reputation in regional markets.
    • Identify opportunities for co-marketing initiatives with local customers and partners to drive community engagement and referrals.
  • Sales Enablement:

    • Collaborate with the Sales Team, Product Marketing, and Sales enablement to ensure that field marketing initiatives align with sales goals and objectives.
    • Support the commercial team with key insights from local communities to refine sales strategies and messaging.
  • Local Market Insights & Reporting:

    • Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
    • Provide regular reports on the success of community engagement and field marketing efforts, using insights to optimise future campaigns.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, community management, or related marketing roles, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong experience in planning and executing local events, campaigns, trade shows, and lead-generation activities.
  • Proven ability to build and manage communities, both online and offline, and foster engagement among diverse groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from local takeaways to senior leadership.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Passionate about food tech and the restaurant industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for local businesses.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with the takeaway/restaurant industry.
  • Experience supporting the creation of content (video, podcasts, blogs) and working with local media would be an advantage
