About the role

We’re seeking a commercially sharp, operationally-minded CFO to join our executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows what great looks like in a high-growth SaaS business, and wants to shape the future of a company who has a very healthy balance sheet and is growing quickly.

As CFO, you’ll partner closely with the CEO and executive team to challenge, co-lead and guide key strategic decisions. You’ll transform financial operations to unlock growth, optimise capital structure, and drive operational excellence across the business. You’ll play a hands-on role, with particular focus on clarity in forecasting, cohort-level economics, and a strong financial narrative.

You’ll own everything from modelling and M&A prep to investor relations, risk management and systems design. You will lead a small but high-calibre finance function, scaling it as the business grows.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Partnering with the CEO to co-lead strategy, using financial insights to influence decision-making across the business
  • Building and presenting robust models that accurately forecast performance and support growth plans
  • Leading on fundraising, including owning the financial narrative and investor relations
  • Identifying and addressing inefficiencies in systems, processes, and cost allocation
  • Ensuring the company’s capital structure, cash management, and runway are fit for both growth and resilience
  • Developing and mentoring the finance team, and embedding finance as a strategic partner to all departments
  • Representing finance in board meetings and being a credible counterpart to investors and stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • A CFO or senior finance leader with experience in high-growth, venture-backed companies – ideally in SaaS with a transactional revenue mix
  • First-hand experience leading both buy-side and sell-side M&A – ideally involving strategic buyers in payments, POS or marketplace sectors
  • A strategic thinker with strong FP&A, forecasting and modelling capabilities
  • An excellent storyteller who can translate complex financials into a clear and compelling narrative for various stakeholders
  • A natural challenger who can influence the CEO and execs, and bring clear financial rationale to key strategic decisions
  • Comfortable rolling up sleeves on operational improvements and systems implementation
  • Based in Dublin or London, with willingness to travel to Dublin regularly
