If you’re looking for a role that combines strategic investment expertise with hands-on involvement in building businesses, we invite you to join us.

As an Associate in the Infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role across the investment lifecycle—from identifying and analyzing opportunities to driving growth during the holding period and crystallizing value at exit. This multifaceted role combines financial and analytical rigor with operational value creation, providing a diverse and enriching experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage workstreams related to structuring and debt financing.
  • Assist in negotiating transaction documentation with internal and external legal advisors and senior deal team.
  • Conduct market and company research to support investment origination.
  • Engage with the management and board of portfolio companies to support them during the investment period, including planning and monitoring key strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Support internal reporting and monitoring of portfolio companies.
  • Contribute to team efforts in sourcing investment opportunities.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and develop external relationships (e.g., with advisors, EQT network).

About You

You are an analytical, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have the ability to combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1.5–3 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A preferred) or Strategy Consulting (with exposure to due diligence or financial analysis) from a Tier-1 institution.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Excellent commercial and analytical skills (e.g., excellent understanding of market drivers, ability to analyse businesses from an industrial, strategic and financial point of view)
  • Relevant transaction experience, showcasing an ability to work in time-sensitive environments and take ownership of specific streams.
  • Good knowledge of the European business and private equity community.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Education: emphasis on personality and professional achievements, candidates should have graduated with a BA/MBA/MSc.
  • Exposure to infrastructure sectors (Energy, Digital, Transport, Social) is not required but interest in investing across the full infrastructure value chain (from Core to Value-Add) is ideal.

Key Differentiators for Success

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristics:

  • Driven, proactive, and dynamic.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Sharp-minded, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Resilient and adaptable in high-pressure environments.
