Tech Operations Engineer

About the Tech Operations team

The Tech Operations team is part of the Digital Employee Experience function at EQT. Our mission is to deliver secure, seamless and scalable technology services that empower employees and support EQT’s global operations. As a member of this collaborative and agile team, you'll work closely with Security, IT and other key stakeholders to drive operational excellence and innovation.

About the Role

As a Tech Operations Engineer, you will focus on identity and access management, system administration, and infrastructure automation. As part of the role you will be on ensuring operational efficiency, user access security, and system reliability across EQT’s digital workspace. You will also play a central role in optimizing identity systems, automating infrastructure management, and supporting collaboration tools used by teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize IAM platforms (Okta, Entra ID) and implement secure authentication practices.
• Manage user provisioning, access policies, and system configurations across Microsoft 365 and related tools.
• Use Terraform to maintain and improve infrastructure automation and workflows.
• Provide support for SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Collaborate with Security and IT teams on policy alignment and incident response.
• Continuously improve system performance, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

You’re a structured and quality-driven individual with a strong sense of service and attention to detail. Your proactive mindset, combined with a collaborative spirit, makes you a valuable team member who enjoys solving complex problems and driving improvements in technology operations.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven experience managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Okta Identity Engine.
• Proficiency in Terraform and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of IAM principles and infrastructure automation.
• Experience troubleshooting system and access-related issues.
• Knowledge of document governance and SharePoint configurations.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with automation platforms (Power Automate, Workato).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Terraform Associate).
