Digital plays a pivotal role in the quality of the connection built during moments shared between customers and teammates. How? By ensuring every In-Store Decathlonian works in an efficient and adapted environment that seamlessly supports their daily tasks.

 

Your mission

In this context, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to level up our game on Cube In Store. Cube InStore is the app that supports sales assistants in customer advising and selling, and more broadly, in all tasks performed on the move in-store.

As a Product Designer, you will join a cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Business, etc.) and have the responsibility to continuously improve and develop two of the app's verticals: Advice and Checkout. 

 

Role & responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer, you will act as a key partner with cross-functional product teams to

  • influence and enlighten decisions, whether long-term strategy, quarterly roadmaps or day-to-day tactics
  • ensure that we identify and tackle the most relevant opportunities
  • explore & de-risk solutions that are desirable… but also viable and feasible
  • build long-term impact (outcomes) rather than features (outputs)

 

Craft / Core skills

  • Strategy - Support an holistic vision of "Personal Buying Experience" domain (omnichannel journeys and ecosystems)
  • Problem Discovery - Uncover and refine opportunities through qualitative and/or quantitative research / Map & help prioritize product decisions with Opportunity Solution Trees
  • Solution Discovery - Explore & co-create multiple solutions / Prototype early, iterate often / Design usable interfaces aligned with our design system and accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Testing - Constantly de-risk the relevance, usability and impact of explored solutions, using the most adapted method (usability tests, A/B tests, surveys, …)

 

Behaviors / Soft skills

  • Influence - Work closely and proactively with all expertises (product, business, engineering, etc.) to influence strategies, prioritization and discovery/delivery roadmaps
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Involve your product team and stakeholders throughout your design process, leveraging the right methods and/or storytelling, creating a safe environment for feedbacks
  • Design collaboration - Contribute to elevate the design practice, run and/or participate to collaborative design sessions (co-design, design critiques) with your peers across multiple teams (New Business Models, eCommerce, …)
  • Growth mindset - Proactively identify and build on your strengths and improvement areas, turn failures into positive learning lessons (for you and for others)
