Objective: The Agile Delivery Coach’s primary goal is to support teams in adopting and refining Agile methodologies, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing overall project delivery.

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Coach to join our Lower Funnel team, focusing on the Checkout and Post-Purchase experience. You will be instrumental in setting the right foundations, using Agile methodologies to improve output and predictability.

This is an internal vacancy, and we are looking for candidates based in Greater Lille, Paris, or Amsterdam. Occasional travel will be required as our multidisciplinary product teams are located in these three cities. These teams comprise Product Managers, Quality Analysts, Production Experts, Designers, and Software Engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop Agile Practices: Propose and implement Agile practices that align with team needs and company goals.
  • Convey Agile Principles: Ensure tools, events, and practices reflect Agile principles and philosophy, giving them meaning within the team context.
  • Support and Advise: Guide the implementation and continuous improvement of Agile practices across teams.
  • Facilitate Effective Delivery: Organize and support the delivery of usable product increments as frequently as possible.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Encourage teams to take responsibility, work collaboratively, and continuously seek improvements through retrospectives and workshops.
  • Facilitate Cross-Team Collaboration: Enable effective collaboration between Product Managers and development teams, helping synchronize efforts and align goals.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements, using relevant indicators to measure success.
  • Enhance Communication: Facilitate discussions, clarify objectives, and ensure alignment within and across teams.
  • Share Best Practices: Actively contribute to the evolution of Decathlon's agile culture by sharing best practices and training in new methodologies.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Agile or delivery management.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong facilitator with a knack for active listening. Retrospectives and Agile games are key components of your toolkit.
  • Agile Expertise: Mastery of "classic" Agile approaches such as Kanban and Scrum.
  • Scaling Experience: Familiarity with Agile at scale, including frameworks like Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, and LeSS.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of modern software development practices like TDD, BDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming, and more.
  • Product Management Acumen: Knowledge of Product Management tools and techniques applicable at various stages.
  • Leadership Style: Driven by continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency, and servant leadership.
  • Values-Driven: Passionate about the impact of sports and how it shapes your leadership and team management approach.
  • Positive Impact: A desire to join a company committed to #Tech4Good, making a positive difference through technology.
