Product Manager upstream Order SAP S4
Our Upstream Order Management team is seeking an SAP S4 Product Manager based in Lille / Paris.
Within the Digital and Value Chain teams, the Supply & Material Planning sub-domain is responsible for building, transforming, and maintaining the company's supply chain processes to optimize component planning and finished product production in collaboration with our global production offices and their suppliers.
Our sub-domain brings together talent from the supply chain and digital fields (Product Management, Engineering, and Data). It is a collective of around one hundred people who manage a catalog of a dozen digital solutions. The Upstream Order Management product team is composed of seven people working on four digital products.
Our goal is to create reliable and efficient solutions to enhance the performance of our supply chain.
We work daily for over 2,000 internal and external users: Procurement Managers, Production Managers, and suppliers.
We are currently working on implementing a new SAP S4 ERP solution. We are looking for an SAP S4 Product Manager to support this.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
As an SAP S4 Product Manager (MM & SD) for the future order management solution, you will join the iProd project team responsible for implementing this new solution.
- You will be responsible for transforming the collection of functional requirements into detailed specifications in collaboration with our SAP consultants.
- You will be responsible for conducting unit acceptance and integration tests within the order management scope.
- You will be responsible for leading a group of user representatives involved in defining operational requirements and conducting tests to collect their feedback.
Following the deployment of the first version, you will be responsible for managing the continuous improvement of this new digital product:
- Leading the SAP S4 Order Management product vision
- Responsible for discovering and validating value creation hypotheses (data analysis, shadowing), and challenging business requests
- Managing and prioritizing the product backlog for delivery
- Measuring and tracking the value created
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- PRODUCT DESIGN: You will work with users to conduct discovery work, allowing you to fully understand their challenges and propose the best solutions with true added value and minimal effort.
- PRODUCT DELIVERY: You are responsible for implementing solutions in response to user and business needs/problems. You design, test, and launch the product and its developments with your users.
- PRODUCT CULTURE: You establish a collaborative approach, an environment of trust and accountability within the team. More broadly, you are a key player in the product ecosystem, developing and disseminating the product mindset.
WHAT YOU BRING
As a Product Manager, you will be integrated into a team of Product Managers and Project Managers in Decathlon's Signature Sports and Industrial Processes department.
- Product Manager: You have Product Management experience or product awareness and would like to advance to a Product Manager role.
- SAP ERP: You have significant experience with SAP - ideally S4 - and the MM/SD modules, their functional scopes and business challenges.
- User-centric: You are focused on your users and have a real ability to understand their challenges.
- Communication: You have the ability to communicate with users and various stakeholders.
- You know how to prioritize, give up, and say no to keep your product team focused on what matters.
- You have an agile mindset focused on continuous improvement and collective intelligence.
- You are passionate about sports and digital technology and enjoy sharing and contributing.
