Security Engineer - Infra Cloud (f/m/d)

Our Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team is looking for a new Cloud Security Engineer, based in Paris or Lille.

About CPE: CPE spans across all Decathlon domains and countries. It consists of teams focused on Developer Experience, providing technical solutions to accelerate the development, stability, and scalability of our applications, Networks, Observability, and FinOps. The main objectives are to streamline the catalog of technical products referenced within the group and to provide turnkey services for application teams, enabling them to concentrate on developing value-added features. Currently, CPE is a domain of nearly 200 people who continue to strengthen and work hand in hand with teams from each domain.

Your Future Contribution:

Your scope will cover the following domains in terms of cloud security:

Networks:

• Internal IT (LAN/WLAN/NAC, SDWAN/Backbones, DNS)
• Application publishing (Cloud Proxy, WAF, filtering, DNS, Certificates)
• Remote Access/Privileged Access (PAM, VPN)

Infrastructure:

• Compute (Virtual Machine, Kubernetes Cluster), Storage, Database, PaaS Services, Secret Management, Monitoring, APIs

Cloud IAM:

• Cloud services portal, Cloud account factories, user and workload identity management, FinOps tools.

In collaboration with the CPE domain Security Officer, the United Security team, and the CPE teams responsible for the various scopes, you will:

• Define a medium and long-term vision and strategy for Network security at Decathlon;
• Participate in various architecture committees to co-construct solutions with architects to ensure security requirements are adequately considered;
• Lead the definition and communication of security policies at Decathlon;
• Identify risks within your scopes and follow up on their treatment with all stakeholders;
• Provide overall visibility through the definition, implementation, and monitoring of security indicators within your scope;
• Contribute to the writing of roadmaps led by product managers to integrate security-related actions;
• Support teams in implementing necessary security measures within your scope;
• Ensure the resilience of network products through your actions while keeping in mind the business stakes of your activity;
• Analyze and drive the resolution of security incidents within your scope in collaboration with all involved parties, identify action plans following these incidents, and lead their follow-up;
• Promote security, risk, and compliance awareness within your scope, and foster best practices within your BU’s security collective;
• Stay on top of technological developments to quickly identify vulnerabilities and threats within your scope and propose innovative technological solutions.

What You Bring:

• Significant experience with Cloud Providers (AWS / GCP). Certification in one of them is a plus;
• Knowledge of tools and best practices related to Cloud environment security;
• Good understanding of security topics in general (risk management, security frameworks, and governance);
• Ability to challenge habits and propose innovative technical solutions;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (mandatory English);
• Ability to mobilize teams around common goals and work in a team;
• Autonomous, rigorous, and organized;
• Proactive and customer-oriented with a risk-based approach.
