We launched in 2016 as a marketplace for fonts with a subscription service. In the last 8 years, we have been through tremendous growth, and we're just getting started!

We have scaled to 50 million+ monthly page views, 8 million+ registrations, over 22 million listed products, and 22000+ active designers.

Our focus is to create a platform for designers that enables them to offer exceptional high-quality content. We make their products searchable in unique ways. This allows our customers to speed up their workflow, allowing them to focus on what they love most: Creating.

About the team:

The Growth team is in the forefront of user experience at Creative Fabrica. We build and optimize key features of the platform (products and categories, search, logged in user experience) and make sure that every crafter in the world gets to know Creative Fabrica. 


We move fast, experiment a lot, and yes sometimes we also break things - join us if this sits well with you! We work with small iterations, deploy multiple times a day, run experiments, learn from results and continuously improve the platform.

About the role:

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of the critical flows of Creative Fabrica marketplace, including search, sign in and sign up, checkout and payments. You will be looking out for edge cases, trying to poke holes in the existing and new functionality, and help us make our first steps on the automation journey by starting with end-to-end tests for most critical user flows.

What you will do:

  • Building QA processes and Automation test Tools, productive collaboration inside teams to embed Quality Assurance into the software development lifecycle, to allow everyone to participate in Quality Assurance to prevent defects as many and early as possible 
  • Bug hunting to explore different use cases, bug tracking, and bug analysis together with teams. 
  • Building metrics to measure the Quality of CF’s products and the operations of Quality Assurance, and identifying the gaps and risks.
  • Automate our testing process using tools such as Playwright.
  • Set up and own test plans.
  • Analyze user stories and product design to identify uncovered edge cases and avoid issues before the functionality is built.
  • Continuously improve the testing process by exploring new technologies and methodology.

What you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in automated web software testing, knowledge about frontend performance validation, include Web Vitals, and SEO.
  • Experience building QA processes from scratch, to prevent defects and ensure release of high-quality products, with a focus on automation and self-service.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, writing Playwright tests.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as TypeScript, Golang, Java etc.
  • Understanding of web and ecommerce ecosystems.

It would be great if you could also bring:

  • Experience with different test approaches beyond E2E.
  • Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with AI testing tools.

Compensation
We recognize and reward hard work, skill, and ambition. Your compensation will be made up of base salary plus an equity-based incentive plan.
