Project Description

The project is focused on embedding a DevOps Services team member within one or more software engineering teams to provide essential operational support. This role is responsible for delivering team-specific services while also creating agnostic solutions for the entire engineering organization. The project involves managing infrastructure, ensuring all services are monitored, automated, scalable, and functioning optimally. Tasks include server builds, application deployments, system troubleshooting, and more. The aim is to bridge the gap between operations and development, fostering effective communication across engineering and business teams.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the implementation and design of systems and networks used to operate production infrastructure with a focus on automation;
  • Collaborate with developers on operations-related issues, providing support and guidance;
  • Develop tools to monitor infrastructure and custom applications;
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack;
  • Document system design and application operation procedures;
  • Build, monitor and tune production systems;
  • Participate in on-call rotation;

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years' commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer;
  • Experience with Kubernetes administration;
  • Experience with CI/CD process implementation;
  • Experience with Linux administration;
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or any general-purpose programming language;
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS;
  • Experience with monitoring & observation tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch;
  • Level of English - from Intermediate (spoken/written);

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Ansible/Chef;
  • Experience with GitLab and Argo CD;
  • Understanding of IP networks, including routes, subnets, DNS, and load balancers;
  • Familiarity with Airflow and Spark;
