What Cognite is Relentless to achieve

We thrive in challenges. We challenge assumptions. We execute with speed and ownership. If you view obstacles as signals to step forward - not step back - you’ll feel at home here. Join us in this venture where AI and data meet ingenuity, and together, we forge the path to a smarter, more connected industrial future.

Cogniters we are looking for: We’re looking for a temporary Talent Acquisition Coordinator for the global team who doesn’t just “schedule interviews,” but treats coordination, systems, and data as a competitive advantage. You see an ATS as more than a database—you see it as the backbone of how a high-performing TA team runs, measures, and improves. You are the kind of person who notices patterns in process friction, designs a better way, and then actually implements it.

This is a 90-day contract role based in Tempe office  four days-per week with real room to make an impression: you’ll walk into a fast-growing environment, help level-up how we use Greenhouse, and leave behind systems, templates, and workflows that scale long after the contract ends.  Compensation is $23-25/hour based on experience.

How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

Candidate experience & coordination

  • Own end-to-end interview scheduling for virtual and onsite interviews, ensuring every candidate has a smooth, well-communicated experience.
  • Anticipate conflicts, solve for time zones and busy calendars, and protect interviewers’ time while still moving fast.
  • Keep candidates informed at every step with clear, timely communication that reflects Cognite’s standards of excellence.

Greenhouse excellence & data hygiene

  • Become a power user of Greenhouse: keeping candidate records accurate, stages updated, and workflows consistent.
  • Champion clean data by enforcing best practices for notes, tags, and activity logging so that reporting and insights are trustworthy.
  • Help configure and refine templates, interview plans, and email sequences so the team spends less time clicking and more time assessing talent.

Process improvement & automation

  • Map where coordination work gets stuck today (handovers, approvals, reschedules) and propose streamlined workflows.
  • Partner with TA and HR to test and implement simple automations (Greenhouse rules, email templates, scheduling tools) that eliminate repetitive manual work.
  • Spot patterns in issues—like common bottlenecks or frequent errors—and turn them into documented fixes, checklists, or small process redesigns.

The Impact you bring to Cognite

  • Raise the bar on how consistently and accurately Greenhouse is used, so TA leaders can actually trust the dashboards they see.
  • Free up recruiters’ bandwidth by taking ownership of coordination, while also quietly upgrading the system underneath them.
  • Leave behind better workflows, clearer documentation, and a smoother candidate journey than when you arrived.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations,  recruiting or a similar role where you owned scheduling and candidate or stakeholder communication.
  • Hands-on experience with an ATS (Greenhouse is a major plus) and comfort navigating, updating, and learning new features quickly.
  • Obsessive attention to detail—dates, times, Zoom links, resume versions, and stages are always right when you touch them.
  • A process-improvement mindset: you naturally ask “Why are we doing it this way?” and you’re excited to try a better approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can represent Cognite well with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, staying calm and organized when things change.
