Summary
We are looking for a versatile Web Application Developer to join our Data Science team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing internal web-based applications that enhance workflows, support data-driven initiatives, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of programming languages and frameworks and enjoy building tools that empower data and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications tailored to the needs of the data science team and broader organization
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, user-friendly solutions
  • Build both front-end and back-end components using modern technologies
  • Write clean, maintainable code across multiple programming languages
  • Integrate with internal systems, databases, and APIs
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
  • Stay current with web development trends and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience in web development using multiple languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#
  • Proficiency with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, Node.js)
  • Solid understanding of database design and integration (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience building tools for data science or analytics teams
  • Knowledge of data visualization libraries or platforms
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
