Automotive Technician (Tire Specialist)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician with a specialization in tire changes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in tire replacement, balancing, and repair. Additionally, the candidate should possess basic skills in battery replacement and oil changes, with the ability to perform these tasks efficiently when required.

Key Responsibilities

Tyre Services
•    Expertly perform tire replacements, repairs, rotations, and balancing.
•    Conduct thorough inspections of tires and identify issues such as wear, punctures, and other damage.
•    Ensure all tires are installed correctly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
•    Provide recommendations to customers on tire maintenance and replacement needs.

Battery Replacement
•    Perform minor battery-related services including testing, removal, and installation.
•    Diagnose and resolve basic battery issues, ensuring vehicle reliability.

Oil Change Services
•    Conduct oil changes, including draining and refilling engine oil, and replacing oil filters.
•    Inspect vehicles during oil changes and report any additional maintenance or repair needs.

Driving and Vehicle Handling:
•    Safely operate customer vehicles within the service area, including driving to and from designated locations.
•    Handle vehicles of various makes and models with care and professionalism.

Work Under Pressure:
•    Maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
•    Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
•    Provide excellent customer service even during peak times.

Skills Required

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a focus on tire services.
• Basic knowledge of battery replacement and oil change procedures.
• Valid category 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and crouching for extended periods.
